September 2012 By Pixiewinkle (New York) - So after reading the two books from Erica Steven's Captured series I moved right along to her Kindred series. These books (Kindred) are written more for young adult, but they are still as enjoyable as her other books, just a tad more pg. I like her writing style- smooth and descriptive. This one is almost too much description (her only book that I found this) and not enough action. I found myself thinking- okay, I get it, please move on with the story. This might have been one of the first books she's written, because it's the only one that I had this issue. As with her other books, the world is believable, well described and interesting. In no way is this book going to change your life, but it is going to take you for an enjoyable ride. It has a lot of my two favorite things- action and romance. After reading the first one, I promptly bought the second, then the third, and then the fourth. That might tell you something.Just a heads up- the author likes to end her books with cliffhangers, so if this bothers you - beware!
